For years, fans of Hollow Knight have been eagerly awaiting news on the sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong. Recent developments have sparked new hope that details about the game's launch might soon be unveiled.
A notable advancement is the activation of an official Xbox Store page for Hollow Knight: Silksong, allowing players on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One to express their interest through wishlisting the game. This move has been interpreted by the gaming community as a positive sign, given the game's previously quiet development phase.
Adding to the anticipation, the game's listing on the Xbox Store includes an ESRB rating of E10+, indicating the game features "fantasy violence" and "mild blood". Such ratings are typically assigned towards the conclusion of a game's development when the content is nearly finalized, suggesting that Hollow Knight: Silksong could be approaching its release.
It's important to note, however, that while the Xbox Store reveals an ESRB rating for the game, the ESRB's own website has yet to list the rating at the time this information was gathered.
Hollow Knight: Silksong is being developed for multiple platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Additionally, it has been announced that it will be accessible via Game Pass from day one, expanding its availability to a broader audience.
