Despite not achieving the blockbuster status Ascendant Studios may have hoped for, given its hefty development investment, Immortals of Aveum continues to evolve with fresh updates aimed at enriching the gaming experience. According to reports shared by Digital Foundry, some exciting new enhancements are on the horizon for the game across the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
Firstly, an update labeled 1.0.6.3 is set to introduce HDR support for the title, set to go live today for console versions, with the PC variant slated to receive this upgrade in a forthcoming patch, the timing of which remains unconfirmed.
Further enhancing the game's appeal, another update, version 1.0.6.4, aims to boost performance by incorporating AMD's FSR 3 frame generation technology. This move is particularly notable as Immortals of Aveum will be the inaugural title to make use of FSR 3 frame generation on console platforms. The update promises to extend similar support to the PC version, showcasing the latest advancements in the technology.
Ascendant Studios, in collaboration with Enduring Games, is diligently working on update 1.0.6.4, which is scheduled to be released in the coming weeks, though an exact date has yet to be announced.
Immortals of Aveum, which now also forms part of the PlayStation Plus lineup, is currently available for enthusiasts on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. These updates are part of the studio's ongoing efforts to refine the gaming experience and ensure players have access to the latest technological advancements.
