Recently, Kohachi Studio—a collective including members from the teams behind Metal Slug and R-Type—revealed, with assistance from a trusted source, that the title has been revived through dedicated effort.

The project carries the signature creative influence of a Metal Slug designer who took charge of the narrative. Reflecting on the work, he mentioned on social media that the game might have been a pioneering force, hinting that its innovative ideas could have anticipated modern location-based adventures many years before the current trend caught on. The storyline centers on a wooden puppet, animated Infused with the vibrant essence of a youthful maiden with dreams of mastering ancient spiritual arts, journeying across the Japanese landscape. Along her path, she encounters mysterious creatures that she charms and befriends, all while striving to restore balance to the realm.
